I mean, the story of Hylia becoming the first Zelda and her line becoming the royal family very closely parallels the story of Amaterasu and the creation of the Japanese line of emperors. Redditor Pickledscones took to the Zelda forums to share the two-teamed recreation, showing off some progress shots of what an experience in a Hyrule-ified Minecraft looks like. Zeldas 1&2 had a lot of Christian imagery, after that though the majority of the iconography and symbolism is drawn from Shinto and Buddism.
